Crappie fishing is fair on live minnows and jigs in brush piles and around bridges and columns. The striped bass are good on shad, slabs and trolling with down-riggers. Catfish are fair/good on cut bait and live shad.

The striped bass fishing is fair using live minnows and silver-striper jigs. The white bass fishing is good on spoons in the river. Crappie are fair/good on live minnows at night. Bream fishing is good on crickets or night-crawlers. Channel and blue catfish are showing good on trot-lines baited with live bait, stink-bait, livers, and hearts in 30 feet. Yellow catfish are slow at this time.
The lake is 2.92' low. The Lake Sam Rayburn water is lightly stained and at 84 degrees. Largemouth bass are good on live minnows and dark colored soft plastic worms. The white bass are fair on silver/gold spoons. Crappie fishing is good on live minnows and blue tube-jigs over baited holes in 20 to 25 feet of water. Bream are fair/good on night-crawlers. Catfish are very good on trot-lines baited with live bait or cut bait.
Largemouth bass are fair with chartreuse/watermelon Carolina soft plastics and spinner-baits. Lake Conroe water is fairly clear and 0.26' below pool. Striped bass fishing is fair on live minnows. Crappie fishing is fair on live minnows over brush piles. Catfish are good on stink-bait, chicken-livers and shrimp.
